Appliance: KITH GrillMaster™ Indoor Electric Grill or EF Appliances 60cm Built-in Oven (BO GE 0670 AF M)
Ingredients
For the Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 250g gluten-free flour blend
- 150g chocolate chips
- 90g white sugar
- 100g brown sugar
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ¾ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- Butter and water, as needed
For the Halloween Ghost Decorations
- Marshmallows (Large)
- Van Houten White Chocolate
- Chocolate Decorating Pen
Instructions
1. Prepare the Cookie Dough
Whisk the egg and vanilla extract together. Add the butter and mix well. In a separate bowl, combine the gluten-free flour blend, white sugar, brown sugar, sea salt and baking soda. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, then fold in the chocolate chips until a soft dough forms. Add water sparingly if needed.
2. Shape the Cookies
Scoop the dough into small balls and place them about 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
3. Bake the Cookies
Preheat the KITH GrillMaster to 160°C. Bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown. Allow them to cool for 5 minutes before decorating.
4. Make the Ghosts
Melt the white chocolate using a double boiler. Dip the marshmallows into the melted chocolate and allow them to set. Use the chocolate decorating pen to draw little ghost faces.
5. Decorate and Serve
Spoon a little melted white chocolate onto each cookie and gently press a ghost marshmallow on top while the chocolate is still tacky. Allow the decorations to set before serving.
